When two misguided brothers decide to replace their long lost parents by sorcerous means, it's up to the Sorcerer Hunters to teach them that some things are far better left alone. Unfortunately, some people don't always want what's best for them. Whn Big Momma sends the Hunters to a remote village built over a sleeping chronodragon, they are told that the dragon is invulnerable and that lulling it to sleep for another fifty years is the only option. One old man believes otherwise, however, and attempts to trick Carrot in becoming his accomplice in a plot to kill the dragon! The results could be disastrous if the rest of the team doesn't find out the truth in time! It's a countdown to disaster with a ticking dragon at the finish in Sorcerer Hunters volume 5!
