Description

I am Raidy, wandering this continent of Else far and wide as an adventurer. I can freely bend the power of thunder to my will, so people have taken to calling me the "Lightning Warrior". Why am I standing here in front of this tower, you ask? The cause lies in the village of Saad that I visited recently. I got there to find it in decay, deserted and transformed almost completely into a ghost town...

Apparently it became that way due to the monsters living in this tower. They'd been stealing away all of the young maidens from the village, and none of the men who went to rescue them ever returned... a harsh and terrible tale. Being who I am I could't hear that story and stand by idle, so now I find myself here, facing the tower...

Lighting Warrior Raidy brings a fresh new look from G-Collections and maker ZyX, famous for titles like Sagara Family and Tsuki - Possession. You take the role of Raidy in this first person RPG dungeon crawl, aiding her on her quest to clear the Kyubast tower of the monsters that dwell within and liberate the village of Sadd. Featuring hours of classic 3D RPG-style game play, dozens of beautifully drawn monster girls from artist Kazuma Muramasa (homepage), and strong yuri (lesbian) themes, a great erotic RPG adventure you're sure to enjoy!

"Einfaches Rollenspiel mit sehr vielen Reizen" by Thax82 (Deutschland) on Jan 29, 2009

"waste of my time" by Giuseppe van Geloven (Nederland) on May 8, 2008

This game is horrible. Let's start with the graphics of your surroundings, it's the same set of tiles over and over again so it's kinda depressing as you spend 15-30 minutes trying to make it to the boss room. The movement is step-based, you click the buttons to turn around or take a single step forward or backwards. Only after 15 minutes a "you found a treasure" message chest popped up on my screen, but I didn't see that treasure anywhere in the room! That's right you have to check the rooms for treasure chests...even though you can't see them untill you walk over them. There are also some walls that you can walk through and yes they look exactly the same as the rest of the walls.
The fighting scenes with randomly encountered monsters (3 different ones for each level) have 2 pics each: in-combat and with ripped clothes when you defeat them. Their appearance rate was well balanced.
On each floor at the end there's a boss fight. The boss scenes just don't really last that long and also feel a bit lacking in content considering you just spent half an hour to get to it.
About the sound, the voices are done OK in my opinion but they're nothing too fancy. The translation was nice and I couldn't really spot any errors in there. However the music was pretty damn annoying, it's repetitive and sounds like a General Midi game soundtrack of the early 90s. I don't know what these guys think "full quality music" is.

For those who were wondering, no this game is not 100% yuri. And to add at least one good thing about this review: the girls do look pretty good.
