Description

Anna Kaitani led an unremarkable life in every sense -- cursed with a girl's name and a total disinterest in the stressful world of work projects and corporate greed, he only accepts a position at a prestigious cosmetics company to appease a well-connected uncle. However, a chance meeting with an old high school pal proves to be the motivating spark that Kaitani craves. Suddenly, spearheading the risky design plans for a brand-new men's line becomes Kaitani's passion...and his boss, the snobbish and demanding Section Chief Fujiwara, seems hell-bent on killing his dream! Why are these two merciless men torturing one another? And what will finally happen when their rivalry violently binds them together?

The Man Who Doesn't Take Off His Clothes strips the world of business deals (and disasters) completely bare. Two men who couldn't be more different find themselves playing a perverse cat-and-mouse game filled with secret submission, blackmail and little white lies. And if getting the job done right is the only thing at-stake, then why are they so devoted to tying each other up in knots? Hate and love are two sides of the same coin...and these passionate men just might have an unexpected gamble on their hands!

"Enjoyable" by A Mäkinen (Finland) on Mar 5, 2007

I really liked this book. Perhaps bit too much company politics, but on the other hand those were important part of the story.
The ending twist was unexpected, but somehow it still fit in the story.
But the best I like the characters themselves. Both are strong personalities, and in their own way interesting people.
The writing was flowing and kept me wanting to know what happens next. I definitely want to read the next volume.

"Weird" by schetenei (België) on Feb 28, 2007

Some will say the pace is slow, but I liked it. Ppl complained there was too little love development and too much descriptions of life as a Jap officeworker. Personally, I think it suited the book. Why should they fall in love at first sight? They were straight to begin with! That's why I hated the last part. Even though I like smut, and if I read that part seperately, I would definately squirm from delight, but it didn't fit in the moment of the story. (It will become clear when you read it ^^)

Unlike the illustrations of 'Don't worry mama', this time they are sloppy and too little of them (only 5!). Feet are deformed, and I don't think Fujiwara is drawn handsome at all, Yuuichi was more handsome.

Overall, I was slightly disappointed, since I expected Kaitani to be the uke, and the development doesn't make sense. It would be better if the second volume would handle from Fujiwara's point of view, but I read a review.... and it wasn't really promising.
