"continuation of volume 4" by SoundBlaster (Netherlands) on Sep 16, 2004

In this volume we find out what happens to the captured girls.
This volume is very exiting and was written in a very high pace!
The last chapter introduces a "new" story, which involves both main characters, Kaname and Sousuke, who are going on a vacation with some friends. Something unexpected happens (you must have read the previous volumes to get a grib on the how's and why's).
Let's see what happens on this trip, which will no doubtly be continued in volume 6!

It's cool the see that a woman is writing Full Metal Panic.
Also the "bonus material" is fun to read. This tells us a story from the writer herself. Another plus is the editorial notes following the story. This gives you an inside on somethings that are said and seen (which also is in Those Who Hunt Elves).

There's also a weird part on the backside of the sleeve, stating that volume 5 is the conclusion of Full Metal Panic, because volume 6 is sheduled for release pretty soon!

Conclusion: this is an entertaining manga-series. It has a lot in common with the anime-series (both Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic Fumoffu). There is a nice blend of seriousness and funny scenes in this manga.
