"Thrilling and unexpected" by Daily (Nederland) on Feb 26, 2008

this manga shows not for the first time just how magnificent it is. A cruise ship, organ transplantation business, blackmailing, murders, a death muraki (is he or is he not?)
things are not always as it seems, not even in manga, and DOD is the perfect example of that. Yet again, Yoko Matsushita pulls us into another case adventure of Tsuzuki and his partner Hisoka.
Both thrilling and frightful, sweet and cute at the same time, tinted with humor through the whole story. all perfectly dozed in perfect amounts that it never gets boring or over the edge. Great work!

"The serie continues with one of the most horrible thrilling stories..." by Dark Crystal (Netherlands) on Aug 29, 2006

In this vol. 3 of DOD, the manga starts of when Tsuzuki and Hisoka are ordered to investigate a case on board of a luxury cruise. But instead of happy days of laziness and yummy food (which Tsuzuki had hopefully expected) they get tangled up in the horrifying game of a serial killer! Tsuzuki immediately expects Muraki to be the killer (yes lady's, he's baaaaaack ^_~) but what is left of his accutions when Muraki turns out to be the next victim?

This story was the one that really took over my emotions. I couldn't stop reading till the very end, because I was so curious about the plot. Even though I had already seen the anime and already knew what was going to happen! And at the end, I actually cried. Both from the tearjerking ending, and the fact that it was the end.

Once again I can highly recommend this serie to everyone with a fit for romantic, terrifying and hilarious actionfilled stories, all sprinkled with gorgeous bishies and a exciting taste of shounen-ai. And even if you don't like shounen-ai, these stories are just too good to miss!
