Description

A coal miner hunting for snakes in the snow-covered Aemori mountain range of Japan finds an abandoned child. Covered and protected by hundreds of hawks, the infant, Kisan, seems to possess supernatural abilities. Kisan's enduring love for his new &quotfather&quot is well-known throughout the small town, but no one is quite sure of the full scope of his psychic powers, hidden deep inside him waiting to be released.
