Description

Created by Hayao Miyazaki (Totoro, princess Monoko), and directed by Isao Takahata (Grave of the fireflies, Pompoko). Mimiko lives with her grandmother in abeautiful small town. When her grandmother has to leave town for a while, Mimiko is left home alone, but Mimiko doesn't mind because it is an adventure! Despite the worries of the local bicycle-riding police force, Mimiko gets along just fine ¿ especially after she meets Papa-Panda and his child, panny! Together, mimiko and her new Panda family experience silly and fun adventures as they run from the zoo-keepers and play with escaped tigers from the zoo in these two charming short features that were theatrically released in the spring and winter of 1973. An experience that the whole family can enjoy!
