I'm a big blade of the immortal fan and the story about Makie is one of my favorites! The art is wonderful and detailed and the story is deep and touching.
Though blade is not a manga for the faint hearted (people getting slashed to pieces is NOT unusual!) I really recommend this manga. Give it a try! ^_-
But I wish darkhorse would publish it in the japanese way.
