"Hidden gem" by JF (Belgium) on Oct 28, 2007

Shingu is one of those series that did not hit the main fanbase by storm. It just slipped in under the radar and those that did notice it will be happy they did. Not your run-of-the-mill story, Shingu really was a series that kept me hooked. Unlike other series I managed to make time for it everyday and it was well worth the time. A hidden gem in the vast amount of anime DVDs released these days.
