"Musical goodness untill the very end." by Jarlino (Belgium) on Nov 19, 2007

Some series feature incredible character designs to pull in viewers... others include dramatic plot-twists and devious story lines to keep the audience glued to the screen..

Nerima Daikon Brothers does none of that, as the series main ingredient is the soundtrack. And I'm not talking about the background music, but the singers themselves.

Nerima Daikon Brothers tells the story of two brothers and their cousin, as they try to build a concert dome in their Daikon ((A species of radish.)) field. Every episode tells of a new plan to get cash to do so, and to get an audience to watch the concert. And appearantly, in order to get anything done in the world, it requires choreagraphy and singing, as virtually every problem and new encounter is accompanied by a short music number. This can go from an audition to renting some dangerous plot device from the local rental shop....

A fun series with lots of humour, wordplay and great music.
I personally reccomend the dvd's to anyone searching some new anime series. ^_^
