Description

The Jovian invaders have destroyed our base on Mars, wiped out our space fleets, and now only one ship stands between earth and total annihilation! Privately funded by the mysterious Nergal corporation, the High Mobile Battleship Nadesico is the most formidable fighting vehicle ever conceived, but due to a shortage of trained soldiers, the crew is a little unorthodox. Against an assistant cook as a pilot, a General's daughter in command, and the largest contingent of geeks and misfits ever sent into orbit, the poor Jovians won't stand a chance! Get ready for the wildest space adventure ever! 9 complete episodes on 2 discs. Approximately 225 minutes.

"In my eyes: one of the BIG 3" by SoundBlaster (Netherlands) on Jan 14, 2005

Finally a more "payable" version of this great series (yeah, yeah, I know...but as an anime/Transformers-freak you have to channel your money so to speak...).

This is one of the great 3 series which made me wanted to watch even more series on the whole (before I used to only watch anime-movies or OVA's). The other 2 being ofcourse Escaflowne and the mighty Neon Genesis Evangelion!

There is no introduction needed for this fine anime (I think), and the story which is above is enough I think.
The video and audio do sound really good and it's fun to look at too!

If you haven't bought this series yet, here's your chance!!! In Japan selected for the best anime ever....which speaks for itself I think...
