"a nice repaint of cruellock, but not perfect" by firefox (België) on Oct 7, 2004

This is a japanese only limited repaint of dinobot/cruellock in magma red colors.

packaging:
The card/packaging is identical to cruellock's, no new pictures or drawings have bene made to match the new colors which is a shame since flame red always looks very attractive.
As always packaging can be reused which is a great plus.

figure:
The toy itself is off course identical to cruellock/dinobot, with the same flaws.in has excelent posability in both modes, however the transforming mechanism inspired by early BW basic figures is a miss: just push th hips togheter and turn the head.Bit to basic for a transformer and also making the bot and alt mode too alike.

The weapons:
It comes with a crystal, like all basics, a gun and a sword in translucent yellow, the sword doesn't fit into the hands without attaching the gun as handle cause the translucent claws on the forarms of cruelock/dinobot forbid the sword to be held in the right direction, this is not a majort issue, but still annoying.

Not the best basic but a fun and cool colored one and still way superior to any deluxe.
