Description

Aya and her twin brother Aki thought they were going to a celebration of their sixteenth birthday at their grandfather's home, but the funeral-like atmosphere tips them off that something's not right. Their "birthday present" turns out to be a mummified hand - the power of which forces an awakening within Aya, and painful wounds all over Aki's body. Grandfather Mikage announces that Aki will be heir to the Mikage fortune, and Aya must die! But Aya has allies in the athletic cook and martial artist Yuhi, and the mysterious and attractive, Toya. But can two handsome and resourceful guys save Aya when it's her own power that's out of control?

"good so far :)" by ElenoreLoretje (Belgium) on Sep 22, 2010

I've read a couple of series by yuu watase before.. so it was obviously a story by her ^^ but in contradiction to other stories , the head character is a very straight forward, tomboyisch girl in stead of a shy and silent person.
But personally i like this approach a lot :)
if you're a fan of yuu watase, you'll like this manga
if you don't know who she is, here's your chance to find out ;)

xx

"een geweldige manga!" by linda visser (Nederland) on Mar 15, 2007

"really good!" by Marlies van der Lee (Nederland) on Feb 17, 2007

An other exiting and mysteriuse manga bu Yuu Watase. If you've read her other manga you would know what to expect, but that doesnt mean its not a nice story to read! Its a very nice story about Aya and the way she has to fight her family to stay alive!

"ceres: celestial legend" by maike bruls (Nederland) on Sep 10, 2006

ceres: celestial legend is a good manga with a good story. the story is kind off sad and a little bit more mature. but if you like shojo then you will like this manga too

"Ayashi no Ceres" by Ran-chan (Nederland) on Apr 19, 2005

I started buying this series because I was (And am) a huge Fushigi Yuugi fan.
But, to be honest, Fushigi was nothing compared to Ayashi no Ceres.

To cut it short, where Watase's drawings where always good, the story telling got lots better.

Thou, actualy comparing FY with AnC is not realy fair, but I think AnC will apeal the more 'mature' readers, and it's a bit more realistic.
I think this is a series every shoujo fan must own

"Ayashi no ceres" by Asuka (België) on Jun 28, 2004
