Super Links Transformers is the Japanese edition of Transformers Energon (the series that continues Transformers Armada). The Super Links Transformers re-introduces the linking or merging of 2 or more transformers into one bigger Bot (or Con). They're not yet the awesome Gestaults from Generation 1, but at least we do get some Gestault like abilities.

"A very neat toy." by Thomas Hamann (Netherlands) on Apr 24, 2005

Superlink Air Glide is a very nice toy. He features a nice jet mode and a pretty good robot mode (although the latter is a bit lacking in the leg articulation). The weapons are great and really add to the look of this figure. The transformation is also pretty innovative. A good buy.

"Airglide" by SoundBlaster (Netherlands) on Aug 19, 2004

This little Superlink bot looks very cool. I really like the way Superlink is going to. If you compare the toys with the Armada-toys, these are superior (okay, there are some repaints, but still...)

Airglide has a very nice vehicle (jet) mode. This looks very sharp! He also looks nice in robot mode.

This baby is cheap and is not that big (I think you can compare it with the heights of a re-issue G1). I'd say, get this one, you won't be sorry.

"nice basic" by Pepie (Netherlands) on Mar 22, 2004

Considering the pricepoints of the Superlink basics there's nothing to complain.. this dude has excellent posability and a nice alt mode. I'm planning to kitbash mine to Jetfire ;)

"Great figure for a reasonable price!" by Shrapnel Clone (Nederland) on Mar 11, 2004

Nice design, reminds me a bit of G1 Skyfire. If I'm not mistaken, the way he transforms is unique so far. Good aircraftmode, even better robotmode! Headrotation gimmick is nifty, but interferes with poseability, which is a shame. Otherwise, I recommend this toy to everybody who liked the Robots in Disguise, Armada or G1 series...

"Very nice" by Rob Spoor (Netherlands) on Feb 6, 2004

Small, but he is an excellent looking jet. The robot mode is also nice, only his feet are real ugly. It's a shame to keep this from buying it though.

"excellent basic" by firefox (Belgi├ź) on Feb 5, 2004

it's a great figure, nice posability, great transformation for a basic, teh downside it's head turn gimmick and the fact that the head is visible in plane mode. the weapon becomes a sort of spear/lance making him look like royal guard.

all in all a great basic figure
