Description
This is a PVC model kit from Gundam. The pieces can be snapped together (glue is not necessary) and once finished the figure has several points of articulation, so that you can put them in various poses.
The figures look quite good like this (all pieces are mono-colored and extra detail can be brought on with the included stickers), but with a bit of paint or airbrush it looks as good as an action figure.

ZGMF-X10A Freedom is by far the most impressive Gundam showed in SEED and so is this model.
The model is detailed and with the proper paint looks very nice.
Quite a hard model to make (assemby takes about 4~5 hours) and painting takes another 4~5
The model is well detailed (especially when compared to lower-than-high-grade-models) but lacks colour variety in stickers which make a proper paintjob essential.
Also seems to have some balance issues... (model isn't quite stable standing up)

Freedom is one of the nicest designs in Seed, with unique weapons (beam lasers in the wings, hip beam lasers)
Building is fun, painting also can be fun, unless it takes a lot of work. Freedom needs that kind of work.
The wings are completely blue whereas there are large grey parts.
Some handy modelers know how to fix this easyly, but I wouldnt recommend this kit as your first one ever.

Freedom is DE hoofdgundam uit gundam seed en veruit één van de mooiste modellen ooit gemaakt, maar deze nochthans HG 1/144 laat toch een beetje de wensen over
- de vleugels zijn in 1 kleur, en er zijn ook geen stickers zoals bij de 1/100 geleverd om dit snel op te lossen
- geen transparante sabers maar een witte die je zelf moet verven
- de proporties van het model zijn niet accuraat (hij ziet er een beetje ingedrukt uit)
Voor wie het geld heeft en de internationale middelen (aangezien archonia die nooit heeft ingevoerd) is de mastergrade freedom een echte aanrader, maar voor de knutselaars onder ons valt van deze 1/144 HG kit wel wat te maken., mits wat verf en een echte transparante saber

Voor een 1/144 model is dit wel een hele speciale! Freedom Gundam is heel gedetaileerd, mooi vormgegeven en heeft veel articulatie. Gundam Seed behoort nu tot mijn favourieten en ik hoop dat ze bij Archonia meerdere modellen zullen krijgen.
