This is the last book of the Shichinintai story-arc. Naraku plays a large role, as well as the Hakureizan (the mountain) and Kikyou. Collecting all the Shikon shards is becoming really difficult for Inuyasha & co as well.
This book is interesting to read, but the story in it seems more like a transition between the Shichinintai arc and a following arc, probably having more to do with Naraku.
