Description
The latest addition in Bandai's growing Macross re-issues. The VF-1S Super valkyrie comes displayed in a rather large box and features Fast packs to turn the VF-1S figure in the Super valkyrie version. This figure has the same mold as the ultra cool Jetfire figure fromtransformers. Highly recommended for Macross and Transformer fans alike.

Write a customer review"The first of his kind and truly a collectors item" by Micha Muscus (Netherlands) on Dec 19, 2003
This guy in a red paintscheme is better known as Jetfire form the Transformers Series. But after having seen Robotech The Macross Saga, I've learned it's true place in animated history. This legendary Skull One Veritech fighter is the star of the show in many episode, and equals Optimus Prime when it comes to respected cartoon figures (at least for those who've seen the macross saga).
The toy is indeed very large, very tough and very cool. You get an enormous stickersheet with it and the powerarmor which can be added to it, makes it look even more impressive. Whoever first drew this robot, certainly had a good feeling of what is impressive and what looks cooler than cool.
No matter to whom you show this guy, they will all be impressed by it's looks. Only the super posable newer versions might be considered slightly better, because of their increased posability and details. But this was the first Veritech toy mold and therefore it should have the same status as the first Optimus Prime toy. Simply a must have, no matter how many newer versions you've bought!!
"Awesome" by JF (Belgium) on Dec 5, 2003
Since I was a child I liked transformer-like robots and when I first saw the images of these awesome re-issues, I knew I just had to get them. The VF-1A Super Valkyrie from Bandai is easily my favorite. Although the Yamato 1/48 scale is more detailed, this figure just looks way cooler due to it's bulky and sturdy design. The robot mode is big, mean and really goes along well with my TF gen 1 collection. Highly recommended.
