Ah... JoJo's Bizarre Adventure...
JoJo is a very long running manga, it now has over 80 volumes. It's not as well received outside of Japan, making it somewhat of a cult-hit, but it's a really popular shonen manga in Japan itself.
The story starts with Jonathan Joestar (JoJo) and his battle against his rival, the vampire Dio Brando. The story continues with JoJo's offspring throughout the ages, where they fight bizarre enemies and later use psychic powers called Stands...
Since it's not available in English (yet.. they're releasing it soon, starting at volume 13, though) I'm glad I'm able to buy the French volumes.
The volumes by J'ai Lu are nice... they're the same size as the japanese volumes and they read right to left (unflipped). It has a nice slipcase like many other french manga. However I did find the paper quality to be lower. It's kind of rough and not completely white.
