"Really great!" by Bidi (Finland) on Mar 17, 2004

I really love this anime a lot, it was my first anime and I still dont get bored to it, I watch it still often. It has great and deep characters (well some of them are pretty lame, for example, Incognito) and the story just rocks! I really love Arucard and he's cool style dealing with bad guys (I think it is pretty close to dirty Harry o_O ). Music is great here and fits in perfectly. This is easily my favorite anime. It deserves 5 stars easy.

"Releasing Control Seal" by Winkelkar (Belgium) on Dec 2, 2003

The Hellsing anime takes us into the rich and powerful world of the Hellsing Agency that tries to protect the world against the undead. We get to know Hellsing's leader Integra Hellsing, her loyal servant Walter and the secret weapon of the Agency: Alucard....

These first eps will surely catch your attention. it's not only beautifully drawn with very fluid animation and nice CGI blends in it but the story is very intruiging as well. In the first episode we get to meet Integra as she is sending alucard after a priest turned vampire. Also we get to meet Seras Victoria the newest addition to the Hellsing organisation.

Alucard is really great to see with that sadistic smile and his awesome gun. He's definitely the best character of the entire show and you'll see why instantly. Alucard is a genuine vampire thus he also is the most powerful undead being that exists. An interesting thing is that you should reverse Alucard's name guess what you get? hehehe.... But his name is also often written as "Arucard" But that's open for debate.

I believe that theser first three eps will surely awaken your curiosity to see the rest. Because there are many questions you want to see get answered like how in the world did the most powerful vampire get controlled by a mere human being? And is the Hellsing Organisation the only one who is hunting those demons? And lots of other kewl stuff like a very powerful adversary with who Alucard will have an awesome battle but you just got to see it for yourself.

"Sweeeeeeeeet" by Stevey (UK) on Nov 5, 2003

Okay, now Hellsing is basically about Alucard and the Hellsing agency and let me just say, it kicks so much ass.

Story: A-
Its quite unique, its not essentially a good vs evil.. theres an obviously evil man figting for good in there somewhere.. it makes things more interesting. The story does slightly drag on at places but generally the story is great.

Animation: A
I was impressed with Hellsings animation and some of the computer aided shots, such as instances where Alucard fires a gun and you see the bullet coming out.

Soundtrack: B
It's okay, fits into the anime fine but nothing too memorable about it.
