Ten-year old ikki finally has his very own Medabot. But what a Medabot! Metabee talks back, won't do what Ikki tells him to, and worse yet, will take out the trash when ikki's mom asks! Instead of fulfilling his dream of becoming a world-champion, ikki is rapidly becoming the laughing stock of every Medafighter in town. With the city Robattle Tournament looming, ikki and Metabee must learn to work together or face elimination. But the Robattle Tournament is the least of their problems.
