Skull Man is een erg neppe anime. De hoofdpersoon ziet er niet uit, het verhaal is het meest stupide dat ik tot nu toe heb gelezen en het is allemaal zo enorm duf dat het lijkt alsof het regelrecht uit de prehistorie is komen wandelen.
Aan het begin van de manga staat een (erg) lang stuk over de maker van de anime en wordt deze man helemaal opgehemelt. Dit maakt de telleurstelling alleen maar groter als je eenmaal aan de manga zelf gaat lezen. Je kunt beter iets meer geld besteden aan bijvoorbeeld Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto of een andere coole manga, dan dat je je geld aan deze manga uitgeeft.
