Description
In the castle town of Midland, a new king has come to power through treachery and violence. His demonic agents victimize the citizens, until one night, a mysterious warrior comes to destroy them. Known as the Black swordsman, he has long held an unrelenting grudge against the king.

Berserk is my alltime favorite show. In storywise, character development, art and for it's very intruiging world and the beautiful beautiful music. Berserk is an epic anime that tells us the story of a young man named Gatsu. The first episode is an epilogue that tells us who Gatsu is but don't be mistaken that short time we see him, and certainly his actions, doesn't define him because there are many many layers inside of his character. We see him looking for the Lord of the land because he has something to settle with him but why you'll see later on. It's a very dark and violent introduction to Berserk's world.
The rest of the eps actually tell how he became the Black Swordsman and why is he is after the mysterious Behelits and the Apostles.
A definite must-have for any anime fan anywhere. This should belong in anyones collection.
