FLCL est ce genre de série qui ne laisse pas grand monde indifférent: soit on adore, principalement en raison du côté loufoque et extrême, soit déteste... pour exactement les mêmes raisons.
Mais il ne faudrait pas s'arrêter à ces seuls critères. Derrière la façade absurde se cachent un vrai scénario, complexe et élaboré (il faut d'ailleurs sacrément s'accrocher au début), et des personnages riches et attachants qui ont de vrais problèmes. Naota est un adolescent en crise qui ne veut pas grandir et qui est très perturbé par l'absence de son frère, qui malgré la distance, reste un modèle presque étouffant. Mamimi, elle, est une jeune femme carrément dérangée: en plus de ses tendances pyromanes, elle aussi a du mal à s'habituer au départ du frère de Naota, qui était son petit ami, et du coup elle reporte toute son affection sur Naota lui-même. Et elle vit comme détachée de toute réalité, prisonnière de son propre monde.

when I saw it the first time i thought... OMG what kind of vague stuff is this.... but when I saw the other DVD's....
i thought.. WOW
The story just had a plot ...all at the end...!!!
