Super Links Transformers is the Japanese edition of Transformers Energon (the series that continues Transformers Armada). The Super Links Transformers re-introduces the linking or merging of 2 or more transformers into one bigger Bot (or Con). They're not yet the awesome Gestaults from Generation 1, but at least we do get some Gestault like abilities.

One of the best Starscreams and definitely a nice homage to G1 Starscream. He comes with two
cool weapons, a rifle and a sword which can combine to a uber sword. He has some nicely sculpted battle damage and is very poseable.

This figure is heavily based on the generation 2 - bw II mold of starscream that came with the B2 bomber BB ("roger"). it's not a retool, but a complete remake, it's bigger and updated.
Robot mode is very articulated, the only thing that doesn't really turn is the torso.
It comes with 2 weapons a gun and a sword, which are cool transparant, the gun can act like a extention to teh sword, creating a super sword.
Only downside is the joins at the shoulders that are a tiny bit too tight and might get stress over a certain period of use
The jet mode represents a F22, one of the cooler new generation fighters, only obvious sign that it is a transformer are the legs that extend a bit at the back.
And for me the best part of the whole figure is the box, i love these japanese boxes. Hasbro's packaging are so cheap in comparison.
so all about this figure is positive :), easily the best figure from the first wave of Energon/super link
