Write a customer review"one of the best comics I ever read" by Vincent (Netherlands) on Jun 29, 2017
Animosity is without a doubt one of the best comics I have read so far. In a bleak world where all animals suddenly receive consciousness and a free mind, the story centers around a little girl and her relationship with her dog. I really like how the writers experiment with these enormous ideas through a very intimate, emotional and personal story.
In a way, this comic reminded me of 'y: the last man'. What that comic does so well (and this one even better) is quickly establish the tone and feel of the comic book and quickly establish the status quo before immediately breaking it.
The comic has lots of twists and a hint of mystery. The art style is amazing and the writing and dialogue feels real and believable. Definitely one of the best comics of it's year. Also a really good beginners comic, since it's a self contained little story made for a larger audience. If you are new to comics, absolutely read this one.
