In this novel karin is working as a maid at a island with 2 other girls and kenta. a place where anju cant help her. all kinds of things go wrong and karin jumps to conclusions as usual.

I saw the anime of this but I'd like to read the book, too, since most of the time the book or manga is better then the anime. I don't recognize this part of the story either. So I think that if you want to know the whole story, you have to both watch the anime and read the books.
