(W/A) Yoshinobu Yamada Akira and his classmates are on a plane heading back home after a field trip abroad. Suddenly the plane crashed on a mysterious island. Akira is somewhow still alive despite the crash, but soon discovers that he's not exactly safe and sound when enroumous supposedly extinct beasts begin chasing him. Akira begins to find other classmates who have also survived the crash. Some work together and some work against each other in an effort to survive on the strange island.

ik dacht dat cage of eden op battle royale zou lijken jammer genoeg niet maar het is bijna even goed alleen geef ik het geen 5 sterren omdat ik nog maar 2 volumes heb gelezen

I really, really like the Story! I like the storyboard the most, since the male Maincharacter is just my Style. And the Art-Style is great! Love it

een hele mooie manga waarbij je meteen in het verhaal zit, de tekeningen zijn erg mooi en realistisch. na dit nummer heb ik meteen de nummers 2 en 3 besteld, een echte aanrader dus!

I thought first it would become a classic plane crash story, but it was the opposite. Not only did the action build up pretty well, all the more strange things that pop up after the crash made it even more mysterious. The plain crash on it's own was strange... (I don't want to spoil anything, so I don't point out the details.) And another important fact, are the characters that are really well made and that also develops pretty well. A must!!!!!!!!! read.

Cage of eden is about a boy that crashed on an unknown island with about 200 other people. and how they manage to survive there, the special thing about this island is that there live creatures(animals) that should have been extinct Millions and millions of years ago Akira and his friends go trough alot: fighting with animals/other humans that crashed, psychological warfare, Mystery all in all this is a great manga and i reccommend this to everyone who likes this kind of story!
