"Decent enough but..." by Chris (France) on May 11, 2011

It's your typical space opera ish anime with a to the point plot. It makes you think a lot of Cowboy Bebop for the funky sci fi feel but never quite matching it. While I have nothing negative to report for the good guys, there's a few things to be said for the villains. The 12 sisters make a very interesting little group since each one is named after a month, as well as being proficient in a certain weapon. However, they put too much focus on 3 of them while shunning the rest. (One even gets destroyed unceremoniously really early on.) Madame Marciano also suffers from this problem. Although she is a mysterious and interesting character, they don't make her story and motivations all that clear. Finally, the early episodes are quite stunning but the later ones, especially the last one, were very unsatisfying. So overall, it's a decent anime with loads of great ideas and characters but it could have been so much more.
