Haibane Renmei is de allermooiste serie (Op Angel Beats na!) Die ik ooit heb gezien. Jammer dat ik 'm niet bij Archonia heb besteld maar bij een andere winkel, waar die twee keer zo duur was! Drie keer gekeken, drie keer gehuild op het eind. Een prachtige film, voor een hele mooie prijs. Een vriendin van mij is ook heel erg fan van Anime en heeft nog nooit van Haibane Renmei gehoord. Nou, ik weet alvast wat ik haar ga geven als ze jarig is!

Als iemand weer eens begint over hoe anime alleen maar over seks en geweld gaat, wijs ik ze graag op Haibane Renmei. Heel fijn dat deze box zo goedkoop, want nu kun je de serie nog eens cadeau doen!

Simply said....Wow. This is the best series, I have seen in a while. The story is amazing, characters realistic, and quality super. Every episode is dreamy, in a good way. The story really takes you away, some episode's where so sad that I had to pick a way a tear. This is really a series you have got to see, you don¿t watch it, you live it.... Yoshitoshi Abe is a really good director, he has out done himself this time. Lain was a very good series, and this one (in my Humble opinion) is even better. The box is a slim case DVD-box, the box is in my opinion super. The outside has a nice painting like print and if the DVD¿s are in the box, you can see picture of Rakka on the front. Contents of the DVD¿s. They contain a good looking selection menu, and a nice theme song. On every DVD there are about 5 divergent trailers, and there are also extra's.... The Japanese audio quality is clear and made by good Seiyuu (Japanese voice actors), the subs a almost never of sync with the audio. I did not watch the French dub or sub, so I have no opinion about the quality of those. Overall a good box set, If you¿re a really big fan you could buy all the separate DVD¿s, but this set is a good alternative. If you like good series with a moving story, realistic characters, a dreamy but realistic setting, slow and well explained but mysterious rhythm and something nice to put on your shelf. This is something for you. Ani.
