Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by just typing in lyrics and melody. Yamaha announced its development in 2003 and in January 2004 the first application software product was launched. It was not released as a Yamaha product, but a software package of Vocaloid Singer Libraries was developed by third party licensees which included Yamaha's Vocaloid software. Leon, Lola, and Miriam have been released from Zero-G Limited, UK, while Meiko and Kaito have been released from Crypton Future Media, Japan.
In January 2007, Yamaha announced a new version of the software engine, Vocaloid2, with various major improvements in usability and synthesis quality. Zero-G and others have announced plans to release products powered by the new software engine in 2007. PowerFX have released the first English package that is powered by Vocaloid2 named Sweet Ann. Crypton has followed and announced a series of character Vocaloid2 packages to be released, the first being Hatsune Miku. The second package Kagamine Rin/Len is slated to be released on December 27, 2007, while a third will be sometime in 2008.
Hatsune Miku is the first installment in the Vocaloid Character Voice Series released on August 31, 2007. The name of the title and the character of the software was chosen by combining Hatsu, Ne, and Miku. The data for the voice was created by actually sampling the voice of Saki Fujita, a Japanese voice actress. Unlike general purpose speech synthesizers, the software is tuned to create J-pop songs commonly heard in anime, but it is possible to create songs from other genres.
A Hatsune Miku manga called Maker Hikoshiki Hatsune Mix will begin serialization in the Japanese manga magazine Comic Rush on November 26, 2007, published by Jive. The manga will be drawn by Kei, the original character designer for Hatsune Miku.

This cute little girl is one of my favourites in my figure collection! GSC did a great job with this one, Miku looks absolutely awesome and so cute :3 I promise you won't regret if you decide to get her. I'm 100% sure you'll fall in love with her (and her leeks) too! |

First off, I have to point out how many other people have reviewed/own this product already. It shows off just how popular Miku truly is. This figure is such a cute representation of her! This is the second Nendoroid in my collection, and again, I plan on buying more. ♥ I highly recommend this one. |

Deze nendoroid is van goede kwaliteit, alles is heel netjes geschilderd/aangebracht.
Het leuke van Miku is dat ze meerdere gezichten heeft en je deze dus kan verwisselen.
Haar staartjes kunnen bewegen en blijven ook staan als je ze bvb omhoog wilt hebben. (ze kunnen er ook af)
extra onderdelen zijn: Koptelefoon,prei,verschillende handjes, armen en benen ook heeft ze nog een ander haarstukje dat past als je de koptelefoon niet wilt gebruiken.
een groot pluspunt is de standaard: deze ondersteunt namelijk de beentjes waardoor de nendoroid dus beter blijft staan. |

Wie alle Nendoroids ist Miku sehr ordentlich gemacht und extrem süß. Vorallem hat sie sehr schöne Farben.
Das einzige Problem das ich zwischendurch habe, besonders bei der Pose auf dem Bild oben, ist das sie leicht umkippt . (LIegt wahrscheinlich an den Haaren...)

Ohh this Nendoroid is a MUST HAVE! It was on my wishlist for a pretty long time and today it arrived to my house. I had some trouble with removing the face to pose her as the pic shown above but with some patience and such it worked out just fine. |

I just had to have this nendoroid! Once I got her I put her in the silly leek pose.
Colours, finishing touches and different poses/faces are all very nice. Overall quality is good, they did a nice job on creating her. The only thing that bothers me is that her hairpieces fall off sometimes when I touch her. But that can be solved by leaving her in place and not moving her around so often! Other than that she is a little masterpiece.
