Cross academy is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu are the Guardians of the school, protecting the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires!

Outside of the safe boundary of the academy, Yuki is attacked by a vampire. Injured and unable to defend herself, two Night Class students come to her aid and kill the vampire. Yuki asks them why they killed their own kind, and they tell her to come to the Moon Dormitory at midnight to learn their answer...

Vampire Knight is ongetwijfeld mijn favoriete manga! Het verhaal zit goed in elkaar, heeft humor, lees vlot en het belangrijkste : het heeft vampiers! Het is de beste vampierenmanga die ik ken. Vampire Knight is een must voor alle horror of vampierenfans ! De manga is niet alleen goed voor meisjes, maar ook voor jongens. Er zitten relaties in, maar het draait daar niet alleen rond, wat bij de meeste meisjesmanga wel is. 5/5

Zeker de moeite waard om te lezen, in volume 2 wordt er dieper ingegaan op de verschillende characters, en ook wat nieuwe characters *die sommigen uit de anime al zullen herkennen* worden voorgesteld in dit volume. Zeker lezen!

I just love Vampire Knight! The story is great, the drawings are stunning, i just love it. And there's some extra story in this volume (sorry if i'm mixing it up with the third volume). It's a must have. And the serie information Archonia gives, won't give you the same feeling as when you're reading the manga. It's really a must have serie for vampire lovers. Not specifically for those, ofcourse also for the others, but still... Oh, just buy it!
