Yuji Sakai is beginning what he thinks will be another boring year of school. But everything changes when the world around him stops, the surrounding people are engulfed in blue flames, and a freakish doll-like creature begins sucking them up! Before Yuji suffers the same fate, a young redheaded girl with a sword appears and saves him. Yuji is drawn into the struggle between these creatures from another world: the Crimson Denizens and the girl Shana, called Flame Haze. He, too, has a crucial role to play in the conflict, despite the fact that...he's dead!

Erg leuke serie, vooral als je ook de anime gezien hebt, ik vind de art echt heel goed, het verhaal is goed maar loopt soms net iets anders dan in de anime.

toen ik deze manga begon te lezen kon ik niet meer stoppen het verhaal is leuk en het is mooi getekend ik ga zeker meer volumes kopen =D

It's a good manga, about a Flame Haze and A torch "Wich name is Yuji" . A lot of adventures will come by, but most of them turn out to be some kind of romantic story and that will repeat each time! If you like romantica, you really should buy this Manga, Because itt's full of it, but if you hate it, I shouldn't buy it.

Bei uns ist die Serie eigentlich noch völlig unbekannt, somit ist es eine gute Chance die Geschichte rund um Shana wenigstens auf Englisch zu lesen. Leider wurde der Manga nicht von Itou Noizi selbst gezeichnet, was vor allem im ersten Band auf den Magen schlägt. Es kommt zu einigen (proportionalen) Ungereihmtheiten, Shanas Kopf zum Beispiel ist fast immer viel zu groß und auch die dick schwarz unterstrichenen Augen sehen seltsam aus. Im zweiten Band bessert sich das aber.

Shakugan no Shana steekt als anime en manga hoog boven de meesten uit. De manga is in een hele kenmerkende stijl getekend: alles ziet er heel gedetailleerd en cute uit. Dit maakt het lezen erg leuk. Het lijkt qua verhaal eerst een beetje op een mix tussen D.Gray-man, Bleach en Yuyu Hakusho maar Shakugan no Shana heeft wat tijd nodig om op gang te komen: het ontwikkeld namelijk haar hele eigen verhaal inclusief originele, leuke personages en goede plotwendingen en uiteindelijk lijkt het nergens meer op behalve op Shakugan no Shana zelf. Ik ben er lovend over en ik weet zeker dat velen dat met mij zijn. Ik zou deze serie een 9 geven als dat kon maar dat kan niet dus dan maar een 10 =P. Als je nog een goede actie-manga wilt is dit een hele geschikte serie.
