"Superr grapig" by Brenda van der Heide (Netherlands) on Jun 28, 2013

"Awesome!" by Day (Netherlands) on Feb 8, 2011

When I first saw this cover I was like O____O! Eek! There's a naked man on the cover... I did some research and decided to buy it anyway and omg, I love myself for doing that. This manga is AWESOME. xD I bought all volumes and read them all within a day. =( Wish there was more... *sigh*...

"Incredibly Hilarious. " by Anonymous User (Netherlands) on Sep 24, 2010

This is one of those manga's I personally find hilarious and if I could I'd finish it all in one day.
The story is as you can read, she will have to buy the "figurine" and as a typical storyline you can pretty much guess how the "figurine'' is going to develop to a good character, with EMOTIONS. The main character girl, Riko Izawa sounds like a stupid lonely girl, while she in fact is very funny, she just wants some company. The funny thing about this manga is that you can tell what is going to happen, but at the same time you don't. The character design is very funny and contributes a lot to the story and matches it perfectly, the art is a bit old, but good. You can tell it's not done with the newest drawing skills but nothing to worry to much about,. The enjoyment is high, for 6 volumes it's more than worth the trouble to go read it. So as I said before the storyline is a bit predictable but in a funny way, I think a lot of people can see the similarity to ''Chobits'' which is the same concept and has been made into an anime. My advise is read it ; )

"Absolute Boyfriend Volume 1 " by Patrick van Zadel (Netherlands) on Mar 3, 2009

"relaxing" by Alchemistress (Netherlands) on May 7, 2008

"YAY!" by Sarah san van der Wagt (Nederland) on Apr 13, 2008

XD

"AAAH^^" by C Halvemaan (Netherlands) on Apr 3, 2008

ZOOOOOOOOOO leuk^^ romantisch en grappig en.. en.. en.. AAH!!

"recensie" by jori-chan (Nederland) on Feb 27, 2008

"yay" by Jill Bosmans (Nederland) on Jan 30, 2008

"geniaal" by Sietske Hofstra (Nederland) on Nov 2, 2007

"lovely, the best I read of yuu watase" by ElenoreLoretjes (Belgium) on Aug 5, 2007

I liked the first novel a lot(haven't yet finished the others, but I'm sure they're just as interesting.) I do have to say Yuu Watase's stories are always somewhat the same. In general one girl who thinks no guy likes her, and two boys who are in love with her. The girl herself is always very uncertain about herself and the guy doesn't admit to her that he loves her until of course another guy joins the game. In this book however, the other guy is a figure,(reminded me of Chobit Chii) Riko(the head girl) one day finds a cellphone that belongs to a vendor, when she returns it to him he is very thankful and offers her a discount on the products they sale. But Riko is certain that the one thing she wants(a boyfriend) isn't for sale just like that. BUT she was mistaking and finds it is possible to BUY a boyfriend. Her curiosity takes over and she orders a 3-day free trial 'Boy'. This is where the adventure begins, because of course Riko forgot to return him in time and needs to pay for him (NOT POSSIBLE) so the vendor makes a deal with her, she can keep the figure if she helps it find out EVERYTHING about women. I'm not gonna say more, just read and see, and of course ENJOY!

"Sprakeloos" by Ann (Nederland) on May 10, 2007

"Chobits for girls!" by Ying (Sweden) on Mar 27, 2007

Imagine Chobits but for girl and you have Absolute boyfriend!
Night is gorgeous, likes to throw his cloths of and even cooks! ^_-
Unlike chobits there's only one "robot" though and he has a love rival.

If you like Watases other work you'll love this one and if you like romantic comedys you should try Absolute Boyfriend.

"nieuwschierig! ^^" by linda visser (Nederland) on Jan 18, 2007

ik ben nieuwschierig naar dit verhaal
maarja eerst wil ik ceres celestial legend uitlezen en imadoki proberen dus deze zal nog even moet wachten waarschijnlijk! ik vraag me af of die 3 volumes echt alles is.. anders zal het waarschijnlijk zonde zijn

"lieve en romantische serie" by Yischa (Nederland) on Dec 10, 2006

"Absolute Boyfriend" by Romy (Nederland) on Sep 1, 2006
