As a magical girl, Sayaka rescues Madoka and Hitomi from a witch. Now that her wish has been granted, she seems to have no regrets about becoming a magical girl. Madoka, on the other hand, feels guilty for not becoming a magical girl, and decides to help Sayaka on her witch hunt. One day, they are attacked by an aggresive magical girl named Kyoko Sakura in a nearby alley. Sayaka is no match for Kyoko, but Homura suddenly appears and breaks them up. Madoka becomes deeply concerned about her best friend as Sayaka becomes more hostile and frustrated, so she makes a decision to put an end to fighting amongst the magical girls.
