Friendly and cheery, Nanael is a guardian angel who was sent from Heaven to supervise and participate in the Queen's Blade tournament. She has spikey blue hair and green eyes. She wears a silky white dress, polka-dot panties and steel plate leggings. A vial of holy milk, which she is not allowed to spill, is slung across her waist on a small belt. Despite her friendly attitude, Nanael is a surprisingly skilled and powerful fighter. Her personal weapon is the Celestial Sabre, which she wields through telekinesis. Secretly, Nanael's idea of a perfect society is a place filled with angels, and men on Earth who serve them as slaves.
She believes all women, on the other hand, should be banished.
