Honma Meiko a.ka. Menma from the popular drama-anime Anohana (abbreviated) is popular amongst figure makers lately, and at the moment of writing there's already five scaled pvc, a nendo and a whole slew of other merchandise. This one is her first prize figure. She's made by Taito, who have a reputation of being somewhat hit or miss, but this one is definitely a hit. She has a very nice, rather different pose (alot of her figures kinda look the same), complete with pink flowers that contrast her white clothing and hair. The rest of the coloring is nice as well and her face is well done too. Overall body proportions look good as well, and she doesn't look too thin. She gets a point taken off for having a boring base (her prototype seems to have flowers on it, but this one is just white, don't know why they changed that) and she does feel a bit wobbly on that one foot. She can be a bit rough around the edges too. However, for its price it's quite good and if you want a figure of Menma but lack the funds for the others, this one won't dissapoint you.
