First volume was good, the second one follows up to this nicely. I like Yukio on the cover, especially because he looks like a very good kid here but if you read the whole story you'll start to see him in a different light. You won't hate him though, but in my opinion I think Yukio and Rin aren't on great terms because Rin has always overshadowed him... mostly because he's Satan's son and needed some extra care and attention I guess...

It's all I can say. As stated above, usually manga's do slightly decrease in quality. This? Hell no! I finished it yesterday and oh my, this is simply amazing. The story line only improves, it's still funny, but at the same time dark. They work out the characters really well, the three panel comics in the end are very fun to read too, same for the character descriptions. I really liked how you get to see alot more on the characters in here, and alot explained on excorcists in general, and how everything works. If it keeps going up like this, this may just be one of my favourite manga series I've read, and I'd recommend this to anyone. I'm about to read Vol.3, and I hope it's as amazing as this one, and the previous one. I cannot say how much I recommend this awesomeness, you should buy this, don't hesitate.

Even in this volume, as well as the story, as the art are still very good. Nothing lost quality (usually the story or/and art goes downwards, but Blue Exorcist stays good.) I really like Rin, no matter what happens, I still can laugh with his reactions. It's now officially one of my favorites.

Het verhaal is en blijft erg spannend! de broer broer relatie is erg leuk om naar te kijken.

In this second volume, we get to meet Rin's classmates. Once again the series focuses not only on the action but also on the relationships between the characters, which gives it just that little extra compared to most other shonen. A great choice for everyone who wants to read an action manga that isn't just fighting. :-)
